I actually don't anymore! I have gotten so used to homemade fries that when I try to eat fried potatoes it actually grosses me out ! Sounds crazy right ?
At least until you made these delicious babies and fall in love ! Then you won't need deep-fried potatoes anymore.
SWEET POTATO FRIES
(Makes 2 Servings)
-1 large or 2 small Sweet potatoes (yellow ones not the orange ones!) skinned & cut into french fries
- 2 tsp avocado oil
- dried rosemary and sea salt ground to a powder in a mortar & pestle (about 1 tsp dried rosemary mixed with 1/2 tsp sea salt)
Preheat oven to 425° . Peel and slice potatoes into french fries. Set aside. Put teaspoon of dried rosemary and half teaspoon of sea salt in mortar and pestle and grind to a powder. Add a quarter teaspoon of garlic powder to mixture and mix together well. Dry fries with a paper towel then placed in a mixing bowl. Add avocado oil and mix well. Then add spice mixture and mix well. Bake on a parchment paper lined baking tray at 425° for about 30 min. Make sure to stir/flip every 10 minutes.Until crispy on the outside. Enjoy!
